I am Dr. Kallie Sesti, the owner of Tender Transitions. I am a small business specializing in veterinary euthanasia services from the comfort of your home. Based in Gluckstadt, MS, I serve the greater Jackson metropolitan areas.
I understand how difficult and overwhelming this decision can be. My goal is to make this time as easy as possible by providing compassionate and honest guidance. I am here to help support you through the end-of-life care process, and I strive to make this experience as peaceful as I can for both your family and beloved pet.
Offering a personalized, private goodbye.
Saying goodbye at home allows your pet to remain where they feel safest — in their favorite bed, on the couch beside you, or in a sunny spot in the yard. Being in a familiar environment removes the stress of travel and creates space for a peaceful, unhurried farewell.
Many families choose to offer a special meal that “breaks all the rules,” giving their pet one last taste of something they truly love.
Each family’s goodbye is unique. You are welcome to shape the experience in whatever way feels most meaningful — reading a handwritten letter, saying a prayer, lighting a candle, placing flowers nearby, or simply sitting together in quiet reflection.
Children are welcome, and other pets may also be present to begin their own process of understanding the loss.
There is no right or wrong way to say goodbye. My role is to gently guide the process while allowing you the space to honor your pet in a way that feels personal, peaceful, and true to your family.
Afterwards, you may elect for a home burial or cremation services. If you choose cremation, I will gently transport your pet at the conclusion of the appointment and handle all arrangements on your behalf, allowing you to focus on your family and have time to grieve.
“When Is It Time?” is one of the most difficult decisions for pet owners to make. I understand the weight of this question.
